Free Food

Free food is a big part of college life. Sometimes, free food is what keeps you alive. The rest of the time it is what gets you to activities. ;) Marie says that I'm the Queen of finding free food. I think it's because I like events and fun events usually have food too. You just have to pay attention on campus. Another important tool is the BYULunchBox app. This is one of the best apps. Ever. No one pays me to speak so highly of it, so you can trust me when I say it is useful. Download the app (if you go to BYU).
January 13th. With the new year came changes to the imaging office. We now fall under BYU OneStop. We also have these great polos. ;) We only have to wear the shirt on certain days (usually once a month), so we keep them in our desk drawer. I like the OneStop and Processing people even though I'm not crazy about the new dress code; no jeans.

Angry Birds: FHE Life Size Edition
This was the fort we made to protect the "birds" (Styrofoam cups). Once all the birds were set a game of dodge ball went on with the two other teams. I think we may have won. Our new FHE group is fun.

January 14th. Dear person that left a bunch of food in the vending machine,
Thank you.
Love, The Morning Imaging Staff.
This muffin was delicious. :)

Saying Hello to Valerie, her giant panda, and all the friends back home.

January 15th? Walked into the library and was handed all this free stuff! Twas excellent.

The JFSB was giving out free birthday cake in honor of President Maser, one of the past president of BYU. While in line for cake, this happened. lol

January 16th. Twins!!!! I love accidentally matching people.

January 17th. Learning about volcanoes in Geology 101. Skinner is one of the best professors I have ever had. I also feel like he would be really good friends with my dad. This is our field trip outside to demonstrated a volcanic eruption with coke and mentos.

A few girls came very close to be splashed.

And we match again! ;)

Went to a showing of "The Freshman" with Miranda. The movie was a silent black and white with a man on the organ playing his own score. It was really fun to watch since audience interaction is encouraged and who doesn't love dressing up in 20's fashions?

January 18th. Making slushies with Marie. They actually worked pretty well.

Every. Last. Drop. Counts.

Thanks to Samantha we went ice skating for free! The rink by BYU had an old figure skating Olympian come by. After a performance they opened up the rink and free rentals for everyone. It was a fun Saturday.

  1. Hey thanks for posting about LunchBox, we really appreciate it. It's been about two years since we started it and continue to love hearing what people say about it.
