Kris was gone on vacation the whole week of her birthday. Maybe you've caught the drift that birthdays are big deal, even at work, and we weren't going to let her sneak away without celebrating. Whenever the office slowed down we worked on this awesome poster. The theme was 50s so we had lots of old celebrities, politicians, and styles on the billboard. She loved it. Another win for the party planning committee. ;)
This was brought on by a Meme Monday. Utah weather is such a tease. Every few days it would feel like spring... but then the snow would be back. It's not even one day of cold. Full on winter bounces back in. I liked the snow at first. March is supposed to be spring though. I wonder if I started to get SAD. Everyone is Arizona was swimming and wearing shorts. I was having a dance party every time it hit fifty degrees.

Who is qualified to be a judge for the state science fair? Apparently me. Skinner asked our Geology 101 class to volunteer to be judges for the elementary and middle schools. We received extra credit and a bunch of free food, so who was going to say no? I do not consider myself good at science in any aspect. It was fun to walk through the displays though and interview fifth graders about their physical science experiments. The kids ranged from enthusiasts about their topic to kids presenting their parent's work. I wish Arizona did something similar to this. It is a good way to promote education, even though science is hard. ;)
This is my name tag. It matched my outfit. Win.
Congrats science fair kids. Some of you are smarter than me.
