May 29th Continued
Chelsea, Sarah, Justyne, and Tracy. The bus is pulling up at Stonehenge.
"Follow the Fox!"
"Who wants to be Foxy?"
"Mr. Fox this way!"
Oh Ross......
Me and Justyne with our ticket to Stonehenge. I just realized this guy photobombed hard. Hilarious, but I'm a little freaked out.
Oh. Hey Stonehenge.
I'm laughing at whoever took this picture. They super failed at positioning.
Stonehenge was much more impressive than I thought it would be. I was ready to walk up, stare at a rock, and then walk away. They were kind of awesome though. It was larger in real life than I was expecting. Sarah and I were both antsy to jump rope and play on the man's oldest looking playground. Being arrested in the UK is not on my bucket list though.
I'm with some old rocks. Whaddup.
Whoever built this moved the rocks from really far away to get here, positioned them just right for the equinox, and used a lego-type method to get the rocks to stay together. Ross thinks it was a temple to worship ancestors or the sun. You'll notice some birds in the upper right hand corner. It is the only time I saw birds out in the country. Supposedly they represent spirits that are drawn to Stonehenge.
Justyne, Tracy, Me, Chelsea, and Sarah.
Trying to get a palm of my hand picture. It wasn't really what I was going for, but oh well.
This one of Justyne though.
One.... Two....
Three!
Haha there we go. Even the bird jumped.
Success. Palm of my hand.
I just really like these rocks... kay?
And then there were some random huts.... The exhibition room was worth a look in. I didn't spend too much time in there. If you are thinking about doing Stonehenge, under two hours would probably be sufficient.
