October 31st

The day we all dress up and ask for candy from strangers. :) BYU is wonderful on Halloween. So many great characters walking around the Y. I was nervous to dress up, but I did.

Trip to the D.I. was worth it. I liked the how the costume turned out.

Peace. (Are you sad for how small our hallway is? Yeah, me too.)

Got to love the mail room and their sense of humor.

Went on a tour of the old president's house. Its been converted into this sweet office building, but still with a house set up. They had good cookies for us too.

Is that Rapunzel and Flynn I see??? Yes!!! The last airbender is there too. Just a few of the great costumes walking around the Y.

There goes Batman. He has just had a face off with Bane too.

I'm sorry pumpkin! You must be carved!

177 Carroll Hall. We love BYU.

Roomies ready to party!

And we made Joelle jump into our picture even though she wasn't in costume.

She's a witch! Does Marie not look so cool?!?!

Cosmo. The one cougar we really love. lolz ;)

....Jenni

This is very us. Happy Halloween.

That one time we pushed Marie onto the stage for karaoke and she rocked it.

Why yes, that is me talking to Captain America in a bar. ;) lol

Melissa is your favorite grandma for Halloween.

Singing "Carry on my Wayward Son." Love them.

Royals

Chris's costume was awesome. Points for creativity.

Jenni has never played MASH?!?!? BLASPHEMY!

They are so silly. They lost it over something about walnut children. haha

Love them and the lives we ended up with aren't too bad either. All of this was after we watched Hocus Pocus. It was the first time I had seen it.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Halloween Eve?

It is me! Megan, Laura, and other people from back home have been sending me pictures of myself. This larger-than-life picture is in hanging in one of the front windows of the new Copperstar Studio. I feel so cool.

Megan before her first Speech and Debate Tournament. Gotta love snapchat.

Back to Provo. Here is Dillon and Joelle making their Halloween costumes for some party they went to. I should have taken a pic of the final product. Couple costumes are the cutest.

Pasta salad success! This was for break the fast and I knew we would have an overload of salad so I tried to mix it up a bit. By the end, all of it was gone. :)
The Dating Minute. Oh dear. Only in Provo. People are encouraged to stand up and ask someone else in the room on a date. To kick it off these boys sang "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid, but changed it to "Date the Girl." This was right before the song started. There was a line of at least five boys standing around the guitar. So silly. I don't think we've had one since.

FHE group number something you are my heroes. Human pyramid all the way! The last three girls were too scared to get on top.

This girl. Idk If I've blogged about her before. On select mornings she sleeps on this couch in the waiting room to the Women's bathroom in the basement of the ASB. I don't know who she is or why she does it, but I find her habit so funny and weird. #collegelife

This tree is on fire!!!!!! haha love fall

We found this epic leaf. I made Marie wear it as a hat. It was a wonderful leaf.

Then we pinned it on the Nelke Call Board to make a statement. It stayed up for awhile.

Not the best picture, but it shows why I love this campus. Isn't fall so gorgeous and magical? <3 <3

Look what my mom sent me! hehehe I was a hippie for Halloween and I was telling her over the phone how I should find some big earrings and a necklace to go with it. A couple days later I got this in the mail. Love her. I also love mail.

Until Halloween the accessories decorated my pumpkin.

A PACKAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE MY FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!!

Especially when they are full of candy! My roommates love my mom.

More decorating the office for Halloween. This is what was hanging above me. A little nerve racking.

Delicious pumpkin cookies. A fourth of the food I get is from work parties.

What's a movie night with popcorn? We watched Glory for American Heritage and it was a very depressing movie. Is that really how it ends????

To Play In Leaves or Go To Class?

CONUNDRUM!

A real life problem and a Studio C reference. College is filled with difficult choices:
To sleep or not to sleep?
To eat or not to eat?
To listen in class or search pinterest? (In my defense, this last one actually keeps me awake in Bio if I am on pinterest or candy crush. If I'm not I start to dose off mid lecture.)

Since those three questions pretty much describe my life and they are usually influenced by my wonderful roommates. Without further ado.... it's picture time!

It's a Monday! The women's bathroom in the basement of the ASB has a little waiting room with a coat rack, couch, and mirror. I couldn't resist sitting on the ledge next to the mirror and sending this snap chat.

So pretty! I love colors! These trees just looked so Christmasy and fun.

October 15th was Kevin's birthday! My roommates and I made a cake with the extra batter from cupcakes we made the day before. It was fun to decorate. The yellow polka dots represent the astronomy test Melissa was about to go ace! #foodart

Extracting the DNA from strawberries in Bio with Marie and Susan. It was actually really cool!

Why Susan, what are you doing with that chilled alcohol??? Alcohol is for science, not refreshing yourself! The only place you'll see it on campus. :)

Guess who has her plane tickets home for this Christmas?! That's right. Shout out to my dad. <3

We went to the Farmers Market! We love food! I think this was the Thursday before Halloween.

Walking out of our building to grab some more food at the creamery before our FHE brothers come over for dinner. Somebody said hi to us!

We have friends!!!!!

lol we think we're so funny.

The ward impromptu talent show. What is Brother Anstead's secret talent?

A SAW! That's right!

Out to lunch with these lovelies. <3 Islands ward family all the way. Genevieve, Shani, and I went to Costa Vida. The guy who works the lines knows Gen she goes so often. ;) They are so wonderful. Glad to know I have older, wiser friends

"The Perfect Leaf" Jenni brought it home one day.

Krispy Kreme run with Melissa and Emily. They don't have a Kripy Kreme where they're from in Idaho....

Went shopping. Bought Crisco. Wrote this so the roommies know they can use it. I think I'm clever.

FOOD!!!!!! Sometimes you forget what that word means at college. Oh it is so good! Shout out to Aunt Heidi who took me grocery shopping and to buy a cute winter coat.

Food art. I made lunch. :)

Is this bush not gorgeous?!?!

Disney villains at the central building? I'm down. Love the decorations.

At the D.I. to buy some costumes for Halloween and browse. We found a cute red sweater for Sam. Now we all have red sweaters!

Fierce. Lol maybe you're sensing the common theme of Melissa and I having photo shoots whenever we hang out.

Night at the opera. We know some of the people on stage. Go 46th Ward!

Feeling cultured. The opera was in German and we still followed it. We prefer musicals though.

Deciding to make cookies with my new baking supplies. Jenni would kill us for eating the dough. She is a bit of a germ fanatic and raw eggs gross her out. The cookies were delicious!

The view out our window everyday around dinner.

Combined ward FHE. Stephanie had the cutest idea for a pumpkin.

Success!

Me, Stephanie, and Jacob

Very impressed with James's pumpkin.

I don't know who made this one, but I'm in love.

It was a fun activity. :) Soooo many pumpkins!

Melissa, Tim, James, and Sam. We decided to leave the pumpkins outside Carroll Hall to spread some holiday cheer.

This bread <3

Wrote a letter for Book of Mormon to Jenni. I thought she would just delete it afterwards, but she saved it on my computer with a completely unrelated title.

Decorating the office for Halloween with Mikayla. hehehe these glasses....

Guess what!?

Cut my hair. Goodbye last four inches!

Our door broke... It wasn't me! The repair man was so nice to come past hours to fix the handle of our front door. A doorknob is a useful thing to have.

Tim made a sick airplane and then we launch it off of the roof of Carroll Hall. It made it halfway across the parking lot. #impressed

Impromptu concert with University Chorale in the gallery of the HFAC.

Want to know a secret? YOU DON'T SLEEP IN COLLEGE! lol at least not all the time. Fixing sleep schedules is hard. Especially when you have awesome roommates you just want to party with all night.

Every Thursday a Mask Club goes up. Not sure what this one was called, but they did a good job.

This tree is a hipster.

Seeing shows with these girls. It makes me want red hair! Miranda, Jaycee, and I all work together on our show for TMA 101, "More Than You Bargained For."

I love this app, I do not love this place.

Making new friends at the Women in Business meetings. Sharon is trying to get into Recreational Management as well. Go women in business!

The snap chat says it all.

My theatre class is cooler than your class. We watch Lion King.

Cosmo wore several different costumes the game before Halloween. His super hero one was my favorite.

Look who I finally got to hang out with!!!! I miss Madison and our days together in Cabaret and Concert Choir. The football game was much more entertaining with her and her roommate, Marie.

Look at all of our delicious Halloween cupcakes!

I made Sam Bellows a burrito one night when he came over to hang out with us. Surprise picture!

Sometimes Melissa and I send snapchats of Jenni to each other because she can't snap us with her dumb phone. :) hehehehe

The same night we were comparing ourselves to animals. Dillon asked what animal he looked like.

Jenni said a ferret.

hehehe he was not amused.

Early morning temple trip and errands with Jenni and Melissa. It's a good day to be at BYU.
You may have noticed this is super old since it's the week or two before Halloween.
