Thanksgiving 2013

I have large collection of pictures from Thanksgiving with the Jones family up in Logan. We had a photo scavenger hunt and I took most of the pictures. I don't feel the need to post all of those, but it was lots of fun.
Wednesday the Jones came and picked me up. All the roommates were gone and Heritage Halls was slowly disappearing before our eyes. Not only is construction loud and annoying, but it's depressing to watch all these building be torn to the ground.

"Shoelace." Pretending to be the infamous Ginny Weasley while reminiscing about High School. We staid up talking longer than Allison appreciated I'm sure. I missed my best friend. <3

The tallest building in Logan. lol it looks like the SWKT's little brother.

Max makes the perfect Mormon ad. Insert your own tag line.

I am totally ok with Laura going to Utah State.
1. Great Music Therapy Program
2. Two Hours Away From Me
3. It looks like Hogwarts!

What are you thankful for? Friends <3 excerpt from the photo scavenger hunt. Happy Thanksgiving!

We played this giant xylophone at Laura's aunts house. We were pretty fantastic too playing duets and hymns. Then we saw FROZEN! Love it. Love Disney.

Friday: Gingerbread houses. Ours is a super classy Christmas house. Delicious too.

Welcome to Gingerbread lane. The last house on the street doesn't have a roof due to poor construction. haha they decorated it and then tried to put it together.

Festival of Trees! We love to read. All the trees were so classy. Stellar Christmas decorations: a goal for our future homes.

Santa Clause?!?! We know him!!!

We're going to run a Glee Club when we're super old. We'll perform at community functions like the Gilbert Days Parade. These wonderful senior citizens are our new role models.

Downtown Logan. Girls Night! What makes it a girls night? Salad. Laura's family is so fun.

Lobster Bisque.

We watched Newsies Friday night too I think. Not to mention Catching Fire Saturday morning and all the good food we ate. The break from college was much needed.

Acapella Jam

November 20th-26th

Rehearsals for "More Than You Bargained For!" Love rehearsing in the Nelke. Left is Daniel and Rylee in the middle of Scene 1. Right is Jacey and Miranda standing in for the door that didn't exist yet.

Basketball game with Jenni! BYU against Iowa! We came at halftime and it was one of the most intense games I've ever been to.

Acapella Jam with Melissa and Sarah Naomi. Here's Noteworthy with our girl Mariah.
Our new favorite group is Familiar Ring. They all sounded great.

The rest of the groups.
Someone's getting married! I love watching proposals and one happened live at the acapella jam.
Vocal Point!
They are wonderful.

And here is us with some of the Vocal Point guys. They really are terrific.

More rehearsals for "More Than You Bargained For." They nailed this quick change into the dress. Thank goodness Rylee had a random wedding dress to pull it all together.

Timp Lodge with Tyler. The snow was a little perilous and this was right after he caught me from falling. Tripping in the snow is starting to become a motif of my life, but it hasn't been too bad. We killed everyone at the Catch Phrase type game. November 22nd.

November 23rd I went on the groupiest group date. :) Natalie and Elizabeth won it at the canned food drive date auction and invited me. At 10am I asked Susan to come with us so we all went to the Provo Temple and then out to Oliver Garden with Daniel Dahl, Jacob Whithers, James Bennett, and Sean Christensen. They were so nice and fun to be around. Date: Successful

Dessert Parties! Sunday the 24th we had the two rooms upstairs come down and eat deliciousness with us! Here are the remnants of a fun night. Mason and Trevor came over too for some last minute home teaching. Jake hurt his eye so Trevor was Mason's back up companion. So excited for a bigger kitchen and living room so we can have real parties, but I'll miss everyone leaving at semester.

If you stand in the whole in front of my room when the window is open or something the breeze flows under the door, hits the wall across the hall, and billows out your skirt. Magic!

Yule Ball! Here is the giant poster for the lobby Melissa and I made.
And because it's Melissa and I, we had to have a photo shoot. More like Jenni went crazy with the camera.

What's Thanksgiving without M&M turkeys? Mom sent supplies in a package so I made all my roommates make one.

I can see my house from here! ;) Soon it won't be there at all. :(

Even before Thanksgiving the Christmas decorations have gone up around campus. Here is the bookstore spreading Christmas Cheer.
Sometimes all your roommates leave to be with their family so you are alone for a night at the apartment. Sent this snap to Melissa. ;)

And because that one time I stole Miranda's glasses and wanted to see if I should buy some like them.

Getcha Head in the Game

It's time for some Cougar Basketball! November 16th

Someday we'll get to the game so early we can hold the cool cardboard heads and sit in front.

You know the giant Y flag they fly over the student section at football games? Well they do the same thing at basketball games. So here is us partying in the tent.

It's turkey time! We decided our apartment needed some decoration so Melissa, Sam Bellows, and I made abstract turkeys.

Sam's cool card house!

I was very impressed with how high he got up.

Tada! Turkeys!

Wake to realize you live in a snow globe. ;)
That's the spirit Melissa. #nutritionnovember

Off to Salt Lake to be extras in BYU's new movie, "Lovestruck" with Miranda. Saturday, November 17th.

On set in our 40s clothes.

We know the title song so well now. You don't even understand how many takes they did. Can't wait for the movie!

Saturday Nights were made for adventures. Love these girls. <3
Left to Right: Me, Marie, Melissa, Jenni

Spreading Christmas Cheer in November.

Writing back to Kevin. He sent me a letter. Yes, it was for homework. I love all mail though!

Saw this sign on the ground. Had the urge to steal the top part that says Heritage Drive, but I kept walking.
This is how Anna Sue was answered for the Yule Ball. He gave her a tree with apricots. Is that not the coolest thing?!?! She got a tree!!!
