Back for the Baptism

Sweet Valerie turned 8 on February 4th. I was able to come home for the weekend to support her on her baptism day and be with the family.

This was the note stuck to my desk that I found right before I left on February 6th. I was sad to leave on Melissa's birthday, but Chris sent her an Edible Arrangements bouquet, so I think she was okay. ;)

Jenni drove me to the tiny tiny tiny Provo Airport and I flew Allegiant to the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Hallie Graves and Cady Sieter were also on the flight. I really like flying. The more I do it, the more fun and less stressful it is. I feel adequately prepared to fly to London now. This little plane was cool because you entered and exited the plane from a ramp straght to the tarmac. In movies, that's how famous people get onto planes, right? ;)

That night I went to Kevin's basketball practice with Laura Jones and Mom. Laura and I picked up Colton after the practice and we stopped by Brianna's house to say hi on our way to Walmart. Valerie needed a birthday present! Here is Colton testing out the different pillows to make sure Valerie gets the best of the best.

Mini Colton!?

Just chillin with our friends at Walmart. NBD

Sonic run after we picked out a pillow for Valerie. Here's Colton being a creep.

Obviously he's a catch.

February 7th. Picking up pictures and other party supplies for Valerie's baptism at Costco.

Friday night going through the Gilbert Temple. Getting married here someday. It was beautiful.

Obviously Kevin is too cool for this picture.

Families Are Forever

Friday Night Continued! Went to see the Lego Movie at Santan. Pretty much my new favorite movie.
Laura Hawkes, Me, Alexandra Butler, Colton, Laura Jones, Megan, Mckenna, and Brianna

Describing the relationship between the Codling girls since Valerie was born. lol jk.... kinda ;)
This is us getting Gelatto at the new place at San Tan after the movie. I fully approve.

After a wonderful baptism Saturday morning and spending all afternoon and evening with more friends (including watching Austenland with Taylor and Laura & then Sherlock! <3 <3 <3), I headed back up to the chilly Provo weather early Sunday morning. I'm glad I'll be able to come home for a week before London. It's nice to know the siblings miss me.
