April 10th
Joelle, KayAnn, and Maren all plan on tying the knot this summer so I threw them a combined Bridal Shower with the help of the Relief Society. Here are all the invitation I cut out and taped to people's doors a few days before.
Study Abroad Back Pack! I picked up this beauty from the Kennedy Center a long with my letter from Customs and international student I.D. So ready for London. Doesn't looking at this back pack make you just want to travel the world?
Not sure what was happening in between the library and the Kennedy Center, but I got free cotton candy and a bag of popcorn. It was right before our end of the semester party in Ballroom. Talk about free treat day. Huzzah for the random carnival!
This cake!!! Marie is fantastic. We were nervous that the tiara cake might be a little cheesy for a Bridal Shower, but I think it turned out wonderfully. It was perfect.
Group Gifts! We got each of them a chalk board, chalk, socks (so they don't get cold feet), and some cheap lingerie. Moony, Sher, and I had fun at Walmart picking it all out. Thank goodness for Melissa's adorable wrapping paper.
Our Cloud Skills = Boss
Marie and I are extremely proud of the decorations we pulled together on the low college budget.
Go Pinterest!
And yet again Marie out does herself.
After a few games and listening to first kiss, first date, and proposal stories, the brides opened the gifts.
KayAnn, Joelle, and Maren
Anna Sue made popcorn for the party! We go all out in Relief Society 1.
I'm not sure if you can read the sign, but it says Bridal Shower. I think everyone had fun. I wish I could go to all three wedding, but at least I'll be at Joelle's.
Don't tell Hayley, but we totally used tape on everything.
Some last minute clouds.
Marie and I in front of our excellent cloud. My partner in crime. Studying is for the lame. Just kidding. I wouldn't have been able to do this without her and it was way more fun than prepping for tests. We pulled everything together at a wicked speed. Combined we have enough craftiness to make it cutesy, and the secret weapon of Pinterest. I hope everyone had a good time and didn't think it was lame. We're in college and there was food though, so I'm sure it was perfect.
