Setting off an adventure! These are the St. George pictures
that don’t have to do with the wedding. Here is a cinnamon elephant ear from a
bakery we stopped by. Marie and I split it, but it was still huge and worth it.
We happened to have borrowed Susan’s pie pan right before she went on a mission. Since her folks live in St. George we popped by and returned it to them. Here I am in front of Susan’s house!

Feel the music.
And then the South said what?!?!?!
Hang in there, Lincoln.
President Marie Savage. Defending your freedom without
breaking a sweat.
Oh yeah so these were taken in the children’s museum in St.
George. It was free and super fun. I don’t know if everyone was frowning on our
tomfoolery without even having a younger sibling with us, but we don’t care.
That place was great.
My new dream.
Someday her prince will come.
It is cold, but I made her take pictures with the awesome
fountain. I wanted to run through it despite my dress clothes and the cold
weather.
You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince.
We suggest getting to know him before you plant one though.
This statue makes no sense. We stood there trying to
interpret it (while also trying to photo bomb some prom pictures) and Marie
finally decided it stands for gang wars.
Magic little waterfalls are made for wishing.
Having a nice chat with the founder of our school and second prophet to The Church, Brigham Young.
He's a pretty cool dude.
I feel like Peter Pan.
Lovin the little birds.
We ride for freedom! Marie must be a cowgirl now. She looks
too perfect.
That’s the end of our silly St. George pictures. It was so
much fun. I’m sure people thought we were ridiculous. It’s also the last post
of freshman fun. Everything from here on out will be sophomore material. Glad I
finally caught up. The last few posts I’ve been typing in the Houston airport
before I board my overnight flight to London. Thanks for following my time at
BYU. Not only will London be a lot of posts in a short amount of time, but I’ll
be entering it into a competition put on by the Kennedy Center. I don’t
particularly find my writing or pictures top quality, but it’s the stories that
count. I hope I can continue to improve this skill while making memories all
thanks to BYU.
