Egg Hunt - Level Toddler

April 13th
Once Upon A Time a college student named Emily set off to attend her last ward activity. After trekking pass the long and treacherous construction site, she saw a polka dot field. How could this be? Utah grass is known to grow green, but this grass most definitely had bright spots of color. Upon closer examination Emily realized the Easter Bunny had passed by the Morris Center early and scattered his eggs at a level fit for a scavenging three year old.

Nonetheless, Emily joined her comrades when the time came in gathering the eggs strewn across the ground. They were not difficult to see and the grounds held enough eggs for all, and then some. Soon the load became to cumbersome for the gatherers to carry. Kirk, Melissa, and Moony all were driven to forming egg rolls. An effective, yet interesting way to transport your spoils.

When the eggs were cracked open, goodies galore rained down on the students of the 46th ward. Candy swapping was held prior to a battle of song lyrics and then closing video and dance. Although not all of the clan was present, it was a fitting end to a year well spent.

Later that night, two lighting storms converged over the Castle 10. With the brilliant lighting and sporadic rain came also a large gust of wind that sent late-night wanderers scurrying every which way for shelter. Emily knew these big wind storms as a haboob, a word unknown to her Utah companions. Although the magnificent display of nature to place at an appalling an hour, many members at church admitted to having seen the marvel. It just goes to show that it doesn't take much to deprive young adult of sleep. With, or without, the proper rest, the adventures of Emily continue next post.
