Lunch in Lacock

Our third stop on the trip across England was Lacock village. We stopped here for lunch at a pub. The food was pretty good, but we really stopped because the town is preserved by the National Trust. There are cars, electricity, and other forms of modern technology. However, you cannot see any of them from the outside. It really feels like you are walking in the 18th century. Some of structures are even older. If the pictures look familiar you might have seen it in the 1995 Pride and Prejudice or certain Harry Potter films.
Outside the pub we ate lunch at. The fish and chips were not quite as good here. I'm still waiting to try haddock since Sarah says it is better than cod.

This place might have been magical. Lacock is not somewhere I would go out of the way to get to. It was nice to see more of England though. There were some Asians in the group that came back to the bus twenty minutes late. This put us even further behind schedule than we were. Ross handled it well. We were still all annoyed that we did no have as much time in Bath. If we had been at any other stop we would have left them, but Lacock is so small and out of the way that they might not have been able to get out.

  1. Remember that time we watched the 1995 Pride and Prejudice movie on your family roadtrip and every time the car hit a bump, it'd skip back to the menu? As soon as I saw these pictures, the music from the menu started to play in my head! Hahahaha jolly good show

    1. I was totally thinking of that car ride when I was here! I think it was the last time I saw that version. Good times.
