When I Grow Up

May 31st
The last real day of travel week and the last real day of May. Justyne and I were serious about seeing Matilda. We got to the Cambridge Theatre by 8:20am to stand in line for the five pound tickets that are available for students. They only sell thirty-two. We were twenty-three and twenty-four in line. It was still nerve racking that people would cut, but we were pretty confident with our spot. We spent the next hour and a half in line talking to the two girls behind us. They were from Kent and came in to London early for the tickets. They were super fun and one of them was dating a guy who is going to be in the new Saints and Soldiers movie. Three girls behind them joined in our conversation as well. One from London, one from the states, and one from France. We were tagged as Mormons early on buy the three some since two of them were return missionaries.
I feel bad, but I barely caught their names at the end of almost two hours. Thankfully, we all got tickets. It was a great morning. Since I am here on a study abroad I do not usually talk to just normal British people.

Justyne hadn't been to Camden Market yet so we headed over there for lunch and shopping. Sarah and Tracy met up with us in the glorious food area.

The Brazilian churros.... You watch them make it from scratch and then inject it with caramel and chocolate. It was so delicious. After my sugary appetizer I had a duck wrap. Duck is scrumptious as well. Five stars for Camden Market food. I want it all.

These journals!!!! I wanted one so bad and I almost bought one for Marie. Aren't they gorgeous?!? You could spend all your money here without blinking. I spent mine on English teacups from the 80s. If I could, I would have bought the entire Royal Albert Old Country Rose set.

Camden Stables is the best section of Camden Market (apart from food). We finally had to pull ourselves away and down the busy steps of the Camden Tube stop.

After buying groceries and some chill time we went to the show. Matilda was amazing. You come out wanting to sing all of the songs. I loved Naughty and teared up during When I Grow Up. This is one show you have to see in London. I am so glad we went. Only paying five pounds wasn't bad either.

One of my favorite places in the world. I cannot believe I'll have to go home soon.

.... What?
